He is a visionary within the LPG industry in Nigeria. He is a highly qualified expert, that has vast experience in the energy sector from his stint in N-power, United Kingdom as a Team Manager to his years as Consultant for NIAF/DFID in charge of Energy Distribution Workstream in Nigeria.
He is highly versed in business development, process management and energy sector commercial experience (Oil & Gas, and power). Lanre Runsewe created Rungas Limited in 2009 as an LPG Cylinder importation company and he has grown the business into a dynamic and integrated Gas trading and Infrastructure company.
Ambassador Bagudu Hirse served in the Federal Civil Service Commission for five years. He also served in the Federal Ministry of Commerce & Tourism, Education, Foreign Affairs, Health and the Presidency in an Advisory capacity.
In 1999, he was appointed an Ambassador and accredited as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the Republic of Namibia. While in Namibia, he became the Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors, the Dean of Commonwealth Heads of Mission and the Deputy Dean of the Diplomatic Corp.
In 2005, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) and he served the nation in that role for 14 years until his tenure came to an end in July 2020. While serving as a member of the Board of NLNG, he was appointed Chairman of the Board Establishment Committee (BEC) of the Company for purposes of appointments, promotions and discipline.
He is currently the president of Sublime Energy and a member of the board of Mainstream Energy. He served as a Director/ General Manager of a multi- million dollar company SANBELL Group of Companies, a company with interests in manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, import and export and education.
He was also a Director / Chief Operating Office of Defcom Technologies Ltd, Energy Solutions Ltd, Sani Bello Foundation, Dornier Aviation Nigeria AIEP, Unifone Telecommunications Ltd And Allstream Energy Solution Ltd. He has an MSC in Communications Management (MCM – Buckingham University, UK) Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Information Technology & Business Administration (American Intercontinental University in London, UK)
A results-oriented and self-motivated professional with an excellent performance track record garnered over 27 years in Financial Services, Real Estate Investment & Development, and Business Process Re-Engineering across the West African Sub region.
Currently serves as a Director of Nigerian Bottling Company Plc.
He is a Social Science Graduate from University of Ibadan; Post Graduate Studies in Management from Cranfield University and Graduate of Advanced Management Program from Lagos Business School.
